あらすじ

昭和２１年。中国は牡丹江にある、元日本軍病院。

そこには、敗戦から３年経っても祖国へ帰ることのできない日本兵や従軍看護婦達がいた。

♪名も知らぬ遠き島より　流れよる椰子の実ひとつ・・・

「椰子の実」の歌を口ずさみながら、その歌詞に自分達の運命を重ねながら、彼らは日本へ帰ることのできる日を待ち望んでいた。

They ask if they had been abandoned by the Japanese government. Has the relationship between the state and individuals changed, or remained as it was between 1945 and now?
